Only Victory

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us!  —Romans 8:35, 37 (NIV)

If I trust Him, I won’t fail.  Not considering anything my due or my right, I won’t fail. When I surrender my will and claim His conquering heart and steadfast mind, I receive His strength. What I consider a failure, He doesn’t. It may be an invaluable lesson to teach me the necessity of relying on Him. When my attitude is that of an unassuming conqueror, I stand, and having done everything, I stand. I conquer my foes, my fears, and my obstacles. He is not just with me—He is in me, imparting His strength to rise to greater victory. I become more than a conqueror. I walk in newness of life and freedom from the past—from fears or circumstance. I walk above anything which would destroy me. And in Him there is no failure. There is only victory.
