Whatever I face today and tomorrow, I
am not alone. No matter what someone says or does, I am not alone. He
is with me. The battle only makes me stronger; that word spoken
against me only gives me more power to stand. Perhaps there is
nothing I can do to make something go away. I know that there is
nothing I can do to change someone's heart or action. Only God can. I
don't have anything to prove. I don't have to defend myself. This may
be a difficult time, “but he knows the way that I take; when he has
tested me, I will come forth as gold” (Job 23:10). I can move
forward in what He has called me to do—assured
that He will take care of all that has come against me.
