Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.
—1 Corinthians 15:43 (NLT)

Broken, you closed your eyes to this world.

Broken, you rose to know healing in heaven.

You drew your last breath in utter weakness—only to be raised in strength.

As I waited with others who loved you so much, you closed your tired blue eyes to this world to open them to the beauty of the next.

My eyes haven’t seen—my ears haven’t heard—my mind can’t fathom what God has prepared for you. But now you have seen. You have heard. You have experienced what we have yet to know.

Fly through vistas of which you only once dreamed, Daddy. Fly with Him forever.

You are free.
