Request

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
I don’t have to beg God to hear the cry of my heart. I present my request to Him, believing and trusting that no matter what I lay before Him, He will answer. I know His answer is always best. But I know more than that. He will take care of anything that I release to Him. Just knowing that makes my heart thankful and peaceful. I don't have to be anxious because He is God. He loves me.
God already has provision for whatever need I lay on His altar. All I must do is ask with whatever faith I can supply, and He will supply beyond anything my limited mind can imagine. His supply takes my little mustard seed of faith, and brings a great harvest. He hears my prayer; He carries my burden, and He supplies my need. I’m assured of His never-changing love and provision for me.
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God,” John wrote. “If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him" (1 John 5:14, 15, NIV).
With this truth in mind “let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16, NIV).
