Behold the Lamb of God

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

—John 1:29

Beholding Jesus is not working for him. It is not struggling to know him. It is hearing Him (the Word of faith) in your heart (Romans 10:17).  Beholding Jesus is believing by faith the truth you have heard and believing the difference the Lamb of God has made in your life. It is believing that His work of faith is finished. It is done, and you are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Stop the busyness. Stop the hurry to prove you love Him, and allow Him to love you. Out of your life will flow rivers of living water (John 7:38). He is the Son of God who takes away the sin of the world. He is the healer—the restorer—the deliverer—the only one who makes you right with God. He has come so you can have new life and receive it more abundantly (John 10:10)/

When you behold Jesus in all of His glory, He shall work through you. You will not want Him to stop. He shall do exceedingly and abundantly the work that He inspires and instills in you (Ephesians 3:20).

Behold Him, and you will “know” Him. You are one with Him. You are in Him, and He is in you. Know the one who has changed everything in you.

“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord” (Psalm 27:4).
