God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning (James 1:17). It is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32). All the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us (1 Corinthians 1:20). Of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace (John 1:16).
Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men. For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with goodness (Psalm 107:8-9)!
The Lord is merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth (Exodus 34:6). Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life (Psalm 26:3). The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord (Psalm 33:5). He crowns the year with His goodness, and His paths drip with abundance (Psalm 65:11). We shall be satisfied with the goodness of His house (Psalm 65:4). God is good! He is pressed down, shaken together, running over, exceedingly abundantly more than we ask or think (Luke 6:28, Ephesians 3:20).
God loved you so much He sent His goodness—His only begotten Son—to die for your sins so you could have a relationship with Him (John 3:16, Romans 2:4, 1 Corinthians 1:9). You are not called to a religion but to fellowship with Him (1 Corinthians 1:9). It is God’s loving goodness that draws you into fellowship with Him. Don’t allow doubters and the opinions of men to corrupt your view of the goodness of God.
God is for you and not against you (Romans 8:31). For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
You will lose hope in your heart if you don’t believe you shall see the goodness of God in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). God is good. He sends His goodness to you. Open your spiritual eyes to see and spiritual ears to hear so you will understand (Matthew 13:15). Trust Him. Believe Him. Receive His goodness.
