Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?
—Isaiah 43:19
You promise something new, Lord. I want to perceive You deep in my heart. I want to receive You so utterly that You conceive Your Truth in me. I’m meditating on Your Word, renewing my thoughts daily, and praying for the eyes of my heart to be enlightened. Your Word is Truth. Guide me into all of it. It shall produce your Life in me. That is Your Promise. I desire only You, Jesus. Help me walk after You only, Holy Spirit.
Amid the chaos, evil, unrest, and struggles, you tell me to keep my mind on You. I don’t have any answers. I know this is a matter of complete trust. You give revelation to do a new thing in me.
You always tell me that You are doing something deep within me. Help me to understand with the spiritual mind You have given me. If I will deny my own understanding—if I will stop comparing You to what I have experienced and letting it determine my faith, I will prepare myself to receive the revelation of Your Word, and You will to do something new in me.
This journey of Your revelation is unlike any other. You take me out of my comfort zone, beyond the familiar, and open the Life of Your Word to me. You broaden my perspective from the ordinary aspects of this world to the extraordinary supernatural of Yours. I desire Your revelation more than human understanding. Nothing else is worth the heavenly unveiling of Your Word.
My natural mind cannot perceive You. You possess a depth of understanding beyond my natural perception. I risk opening myself to Your Word and allowing You, Holy Spirit, to guide me into its Truth. Your Word is incorruptible seed that produces your Life in me. I want to perceive it until it’s conceived in my heart. I want to venture into uncharted territory with You.
When Your Word comes to Life in me, I trust You with my mind and heart. You keep me in perfect peace, no matter what rages. I perceive Your Spirit with my mind and conceive Your Truth in my heart. When the revelation of Your Word is conceived within me, I’m changed. I come into agreement with the new birth I have received. You manifest Yourself in my life. When I place my faith in You rather than in the lies of the enemy, the world, religious tradition, or the opinions of men, You impart perfect peace amid chaos, unrest, and destruction. I walk in Your joy, healing, and victory.
“Behold, I will do a new thing. Will you not know it? I make a road in this wilderness and give waters in this desert land to my people—to the ones that know me—the ones I have formed for myself. They shall praise me” (Isaiah 43:19-21).
You are my answer, Lord Jesus. You have made a way for me. You have given me daily bread. You have freely given so I can freely give. I want to know you deep in my heart and experience the power of Your might. The revelation of Your Word is the way I conceive You. It’s the way You change me so You can manifest Yourself in me. But sometimes instead of allowing You to work in and through me, I fail. You paid the price, Lord; it’s Your purpose, not mine. I am only Your servant. You give revelation. You bear fruit. You change hearts. You heal. Never me.
Lord, Jesus, I take my hands off of me. I am Your work. You are my hands and feet, Jesus. I launch out into the deep. Change me, Holy Spirit, into a vessel You can use so that Your Word will manifest in those hungry enough to receive it. Help me reach hearts that are famished and willing to risk everything for You. Help me to see the hunger in those who cannot express it. Help me to share You with absolute integrity.
I have Your faith and Your mind to exercise, Lord Jesus. I fix my mind and heart on You. You began this work in me as a child, and You shall complete what You have chosen for me. I trust only You. I will keep sowing Your incorruptible seed in my heart, and You will keep producing Your Life in me—thirty, sixty, a hundred-fold.
I surrender, Sir.
Jesus, be Jesus in me.
