Some

Some love more. It just flows out of their lives. Some discover that surrender to the Holy Spirit means more instead of less. His more is greater than the best of their less. Some learn that His control is far superior to their own. He knows what is relevant and what isn’t. Some find that listening to Him keeps them from choosing death instead of life. They learn that to die to self is to live for Him. Some discover that surrender to His control and knowing what He desires empowers them to move in His will. And when they do, they are filled to overflowing with His Spirit and love. Am I this kind of “some”, or am I one who can’t let God have His way? “Many are called,” Jesus said, “but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14, NLT). To be chosen, I surrender to Him. I want to be one of the few who loves more—who experiences all that He has chosen for my life. Surrender is my choice. His love is my promise.
