Receive and Believe

“Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the Lord. “Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?” says your God.
—Isaiah 66:9 (NIV)

God is faithful to deliver what He promises. He never assures you of something that He will not provide. Your pain might be greater right before the birth of your promise, but there is delivery from its grip. Don’t give up. He doesn’t bring you right up to the birth of your promise, and then says, “forget it.” No! Your promise has developed in you for a long time, and the time of its birth is upon you. No matter how hard the pain or difficult your journey, His promise of delivery gives great hope. Anticipate your promise just as Mary anticipated the birth of her son. God doesn’t bring to the point of delivery, and then close up the womb. He delivered Mary’s promise for you. Receive and believe!
