You may be enduring a battle you thought you would never face. Perhaps, you are ill and fighting to regain your health. You may have suffered emotional grief that rips your heart to shreds. Wherever you are right now, you are not alone. God has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). God is with you. He loves you.
God is love (1 John 4:8). He is good and did not cause your problem or torment. The enemy is the one who kills, steals, and destroys. Fear is tormenting, and the enemy is the one who torments. Christ came so you could have abundant life (John 10:10). When you believe in your heart that God loves you, fear will not overwhelm you. His perfect love for you has the power to cast out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Bring each anxious thought that the enemy uses to destroy you under the power of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). The enemy can’t have you. You belong to Jesus. Nothing can separate you from the love God has for you in Christ (Romans 8:39). Nothing.
Now let God have this. Choose to trust Him. Refuse the anxious thoughts and worry. He fights your battle. He regains your health. He heals your heart. God never fails you. He will keep you in His peace when you think about Him and not your issue.
Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Just believe Him in your heart. Trust Him.
