FINDING ME

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness” Jeremiah 31:3, NIV).

"I'm so glad, Lord, you accept me in my frailty. I am who I am with you. There is just you and just me. There is no image I have to keep. There is no agenda that has to be met. There is no perfection that I must maintain. You see beyond all my limitations, and you still love me. You always see my potential, and never my failures. You know what you have created me to be, and that is not something that I must struggle to receive. I am a new creature in you because of who you are. Not because of who I am. The idea that the you love me with an everlasting love is beyond my human ability to conceive. It just is. And you just are. And in that wonder, I discover whom you have loved and drawn in unfailing kindness. I find me.”
