WHO I AM IN CHRIST



The only thing that protects you—gives you power and peace and confidence— is the knowledge of who you are in Christ. The knowledge of your identity will set you free to live a victorious life (John 8:32). When you know who you are in Christ, you see differently, hear differently, and understand God’s Truth that prospers your life. The Grace of Jesus changes everything. You are no longer in chains of bondage. The person whom the Son makes free is indeed free (John 8:36)! There are many verses that tell you who you are in Jesus. These are just a few to encourage you to discover who you are in Him.

 

 

I am justified (made right with God) by faith in Christ (Romans 5:1).

I am God’s child, and I belong to Him (John 1:12, Ephesians 1:5, 1 Corinthians 6:20).

I am safely hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3).

I am a citizen of heaven (Philippians 3:20).

I am born of God and the evil one can’t touch me (I John 5:18).

I am blessed in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3).

I was chosen before the creation of the world (Ephesians 1:4,11).

I am holy and blameless because of Christ (Ephesians 1:4).

I am in Christ, and as He is so am I (Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 4:17).

I am forgiven and redeemed (Ephesians 1:8; Colossians 1:14). 

I am healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24)

I have a purpose in my life (Ephesians 1:9; 3:11).

I have hope (Ephesians 1:12).

I am lavished and covered by Grace without restriction (Ephesians 1:5,8).

I am anointed and sealed by God (2 Corinthians 1:21-22).

I have the assurance that all things work together for good (Romans 8:28).

I am confident that God will complete the work He has started in me (Philippians 1:6).

I am not fearful but possess His power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

I have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16).

I am sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13).

I am alive with Christ (Ephesians 2:5).

I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6).

I have peace (Ephesians 2:14).

I have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).

I am a member of God’s house (Ephesians 2:19).

I am secure in Christ (Ephesians 2:20).

I am free in Christ (John 8:36).

I share in the promise of Christ Jesus (Ephesians 3:6).

I am the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 2:22).

I have the same power that raised Christ from the dead living in me (Ephesians 1:18-19)

I have the Holy Spirit working through me (Ephesians 3:7).

I prosper in life and in health (3 John 2).

I possess the riches of His glory (Ephesians 1:18).

I am more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21).

I am safe (I John 5:18).

I can approach God with freedom and confidence (Ephesians 3:12).

I can grasp how wide, long, high and deep Christ’s love is for me (Ephesians 3:18). 

I am completed by God (Ephesians 3:19).

I bring glory to God (Ephesians 3:21).

I am dead to sin (Romans 1:12).

I am never alone (Hebrews 13:5).

I have an abundant life (John 10:10).

I have the gift of eternal life (John 6:47).

I am protected by God’s peace (Philippians 4:7).

I am chosen and loved dearly (Colossians 3:12).

I am blameless (I Corinthians 1:8).

I am set free (Romans 8:2; John 8:32).

I am crucified with Christ, and He lives in me (Galatians 2:20).

I have the power of life and death in my tongue (Proverbs 18:21).

I am safe (I John 5:18).

I am an overcomer (1 John 4:4).

I am born again and a new creation in Christ (1 Peter 2:23, 2 Corinthians 5:17).

I have no condemnation in Christ (8:1-2).

I am protected (John 10:28).

I am delivered from the power of darkness into the Kingdom of God (Colossians 1:13).

I am redeemed from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13). 

I am qualified by Christ to share in His inheritance (Colossians 1:12). 

I am victorious (1 Corinthians 15:57).

 

There are so many more truths than these!

 

Plunge into the Word and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you into all Truth!  When you know the things that God says about you are REAL—when you believe them about yourself—you are free to soar in His Grace!
