“That person is like a tree
planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf
does not wither—whatever they do prospers” (Psalm 1:3, NIV).
“Do you yearn to be deeply rooted
in me?” He asks in a still small voice this morning. “Do you long for what you
do for me to prosper? Do you wish to never be tired of serving
me?
“As the deer pants for water that
satisfies, yearn for me in this way. I am the only thing that will satisfy your
soul (Psalm 32:1). Remember that those who hunger and thirst for me will be
filled (Matthew 5:6). Continually drink of my living water which brings
fulfillment to your thirsty spirit, and you will never thirst again (John
4:13-14). Now quiet your heart. I will lead you beside waters that refresh your
soul (Psalm 23:2). You have asked for me, and I give you a hunger that only I
can satisfy. Your spirit is starved for what I only can give you. Ask and seek
for my living water, and you will receive all I have for you (Luke 11:9).You
will discover my living water which satisfies your soul freely and abundantly. I
will bless you abundantly in all things you do for me (2 Corinthians 9:8). You
will be filled with my spirit, and your joy will be complete. You will trust me
perfectly.”
