RECEIVE

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

—3 John 2 (NKJV)

Are you dealing with sickness? You might believe that God has the power to save you, but do you believe He also wants you well?

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1, NKJV).

God is the Word. When you receive the Word, you receive God.

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14, NKJV).

The Word became flesh; God became flesh in Jesus—the only Son of God, the Father. And we witnessed His glory, full of grace and truth. When you receive Jesus, you receive God. When you receive the Word, you receive God’s grace and truth.

“God sent His word and healed them” (Psalm 107:20, NKJV).

God, who is the Word, sent Himself in Jesus to heal you. God is truth. His Word is truth. You can believe it, and receive it.

“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24, NKJV).

God in the flesh—Jesus, died for our sins so that we could receive His righteousness. By the wounds He took for us, we were healed. The work of forgiveness of sins and healing is complete. It is done.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases” (Psalm 103:2-3, NKJV).

Believe God. Believe the Word. Receive God’s grace and truth. He heals all of your sins. He heals all of your diseases. Receive everything Jesus died to give you.

“I shall not die,” the psalmist declared, “I shall live and declare the works of the Lord” (Psalm 118:17).

What do you believe? And what do you declare?

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21, NKJV).
