Ash Heap

Ash Heap

“He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap” (Psalm 113:7, NIV).

You have a purpose, child. Without its focus, you will lose your way. Don't look at your circumstance. Allow me to change how you handle it. Be still and learn of me. Focus your mind on me—not every fear that rises. Lift your eyes to me. Where do you think your help comes from? I am the Lord, strong and mighty to save. I promise to lift you from the dust of your despair—to pull you from the ash heap renewed and restored. But you cannot rise from the ash heap until you have turned from everything that placed you there. Decide. Choose faith over fear. Choose freedom over bondage and victory over defeat. Choose me. You need encounters with me every day and each moment to help you recognize your purpose. Meet me on my terms—not yours. Come surrendered to my Hand molding and pruning. Come and learn the potential I see in you. You are my purpose, and loving me is yours. When I am Lord of your life and you love me with all your heart, soul, and mind, all things are possible. I am faithful. Rise from the ash heap and walk.
