Now is the Time

Now is the time to focus on the future! With the help of the Holy Spirit this year, I can achieve victories I have never realized before! But to reach these goals, I must be very determined and committed. This is why Paul tells me in Philippians 3:13 that I must persistently “reach forward to those things which are ahead.”

Dear Lord,

I am so thankful you have blessed me with another year to fulfill your purpose. Thank you for new opportunities to seek and know you more and to bear fruit for you. Help me set realistic goals I can accomplish through your power enabling me. Help me to lean on you in everything. I trust you and not me. You guide and strengthen me. Strengthen me with might and power in my inner man so I can have the determination and commitment to reach these goals. I praise you for your supernatural power. You make it available to me according to your power, which is already at work in me. I lean on you and trust you to enable and empower me as I press on to reach the things ahead.

I praise you for all the years you have given me to seek and find you, Lord. I set my love on you. Jesus, I am so thankful that I know your name. When I call on you, Father, you answer me. You are with me when I am in trouble. You deliver and honor me. Father, you satisfy me with a long life and reveal the wonders of my salvation. Knowing you is the highest privilege. Living the life you have chosen for me is the greatest satisfaction I could ever experience.

I can do all things through your strength, Jesus. I will finish whatever I start and accomplish whatever I set my heart on. I will listen to you, Holy Spirit, guiding me to set goals and not let what I desire influence me. You know me better than I know myself and where to receive the best results for my efforts. I run my race this year with commitment, determination, and diligence.

You see what you have designed for me as already finished. I am only your tool for manifesting it. So, I rest in your finished work so you can work through me. Praise you, Jesus! Help me to be your light that dispels the darkness. When this year is over, I will declare with a satisfied heart that I have achieved what I set out to accomplish.

I pray and affirm these things in your mighty and holy name, Jesus.

Amen.
