Praise Him

Praise the Lord, my soul;

    all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Praise the Lord, my soul,

    and forget not all his benefits—

who forgives all your sins

    and heals all your diseases,

who redeems your life from the pit

    and crowns you with love and compassion,

who satisfies your desires with good things

    so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

–Psalm 103:1-5 (NLT)

Whatever you face—whatever you go through, praise the Lord! When you are held captive by fear, praise His holy name with all of your soul! Don’t ever forget His promises! Remember His benefits—the price He has paid so that you may be healed and free.

You are completely and thoroughly forgiven. Jesus had no sin in Him, but He took your sins to the Cross. All sin in your life died with Him. When He rose in new life from the dead, so did you. Death is now overcome. Disease and sickness are overcome in His power. The gift of His life gives you new life.

Believe in His new life!  Believe that He has overcome death—illness—injury—heartache! This is not just a statement that is for someone else. This is for you as a believer in Christ. The Holy Spirit crowns your life with His love and compassion. He satisfies your life with good things. He continually renews you in the spirit of your mind so that you can believe in His promises.

Don’t look at your circumstance or your illness or heartache through human eyes. You have received the mind of Christ. You have the ability to see with His eyes and understand with His mind. Then you can believe in what you can’t see right now. You trust in your Savior who renews the way you think. His perspective always believes.

Praise will keep you in His perspective. From your innermost being, praise Him!
