But the officer said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed” (Matthew 8:8, NLT)
“Say the Word from where you are, and my servant will be healed,” the Roman officer declared! He had incredible faith to believe! “Go back home,” Jesus told him, “because you believe, it has happened!”
I love that truth “ because you believe it has happened!” Do you believe that truth? Do you realize that Jesus has given you the power to speak truth to others and to yourself?
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father” Jesus told the disciples (John 14:12, NIV).
Jesus could only go to the Father after doing His Father’s will. And He did it on Calvary. Because of His finished work on the Cross, He was leaving them for heaven. But His Work on the Cross would give those disciples exactly what they needed to do greater things! That power is given to you, too.
The Word just waits for you to receive its revelation truth This truth is one that begs to be believed! Speak the truth of the Word wherever you are! Speak the Resurrection life of Jesus to those in pain! And to yourself!
“He sent out his word and healed them,” the psalmist wrote, “snatching them from the door of death” (Psalms 107:20, NLT).
